She is now 82. I have been visiting her since I was 13. Now at almost 50 I realized I had the rare thing for a girl of my time. A role model who was a woman AND an artist.

She's beautiful! There's a radiance that you capture in your picture. I remember reading about artists when I was little, and they were all "he." It had an impression: artists are men. Luckily, not one that lasted!
