A big whoop in the night in our ethnically diverse neighborhood. In the space of the three seconds that it took for me to place a dish in the sink, the country was saved from Country-First-and fuck-everyone/everything-else. I whooped too.
I keep looking at the electoral college map--red states and blue states blah-blah-blah. At last, at last, the pattern is breaking from the Coast-Heartland division. It's just a start, but it warmed the cockles of my heart--which coincidentally, hold a mix of blue and red and purple blood.
