On The Street That You Live*

Nights walking home from Gramma's once-a-week-TV-watching with her...


...these nooks and crannies, as intimate as her small apartment....

... the purring of the bridge...


...if I had my way I'd live right here.



People stop and stare. They don't bother me.
For there's no where else on earth that I would rather be.
Let the time go by, I won't care if I
Can be here on the street where you live.
