Hope for the Future

I was listening to Game Four Mets vs. Dodgers.

She was watching the Democratic debate.

Perhaps there was hope for the future, I thought, peering into the bar packed with the youth of America.

Then again, I had a better idea how the primaries would turn out.

The Mets?  Never.
